Dillon County accepts household electronics at only two locations:

• Dillon County Recycling Center (608 South 1st Avenue, Dillon) — Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Dillon County Landfill (901 Landfill Road, Dillon) — Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Accepted electronics include computers, laptops, printers, televisions, and other electronic equipment. The 11 convenience centers do not accept electronics.

11 Staffed Convenience Centers — Mon / Wed / Fri, 7 AM–7 PM

All 11 convenience centers accept tires, lead-acid batteries, large appliances, scrap metal, and used motor oil and filters. Cardboard is only accepted at select locations (marked below).

City of Dillon Curbside Collection

City of Dillon residents have curbside collection for household garbage and recyclables (aluminum cans, plastic bottles, cardboard, newspapers). Contact Dillon City Public Works at (843) 774-0040 for pickup schedules and rules. The city does not pick up large appliances or electronics curbside — take those to the Recycling Center or Landfill.

Contractors working in Dillon County should know that only C&D debris and yard waste are buried at the local landfill. General construction waste mixed with household materials will need to go through the transfer station system, which hauls to Lee County.
