What Affects Cost

Pricing Factors to Know

Dumpster Size

Larger containers cost more. Don't over-size — but under-sizing and needing a second container is usually more expensive.

Weight / Tonnage

Most rentals include a tonnage allowance. Exceeding it triggers per-ton overage fees, which add up fast with heavy materials.

Rental Duration

Longer rentals cost more. Standard is 7–14 days. Ask about the extension rate before committing.

Debris Type

Roofing shingles, concrete, and mixed debris may be priced differently. Always specify your debris type upfront.

Delivery Distance

Providers serving outlying areas may add a fuel or distance surcharge. Confirm the service area when comparing quotes.

Permits

Street placement may require a permit. Some providers handle this; others pass the cost to you separately.
